​Okoboji Yacht Club Sailing School, Inc. leases boats to support racing programs at the Okoboji Yacht Club.  Although recreational use is available under the Lease, all leased boats are intended to be used, in part, for racing (except for Opti) and are to be made available to sailing school during required programs as part of the Lease Agreement. Please see Lease for details.

Boats available for lease are limited in numbers and may not be available. They are offered on a  first come basis.

Lease amount is due and payable in advance of Lease Term. All insurance requirements must be in place prior to transfer.

Insurance is a requirement of the Lease.  Contact your Insurance Agent for all coverage(s) recommendations.
(a) Priced for both crew for a full season with discounts.
(b) Pricing listed is for a single member. Family memberships are available too.  
(c) Optimist leasing is optional to start racing as boats are provided as part training.
(d) Used sails are provided with each leased boat.  Pricing varies for competitive sails.
(e) Costs vary greatly for routine boat maintenance based on Leasee use.
