ADULT SAILING
Come out this summer on a beautiful evening and learn all about the sport of sailing. Start by learning the basics in a classroom setting then hit the water trying your hand at the helm! All you need is a life jacket, closed-toe shoes that won't mark up the boat, and a curiosity set for adventure! This is a fun and social event for adults. After class, enjoy our open Cash Bar WOMEN ON THE WATER - JUNE
The program will include 4- 2-hour sessions focused on teaching the fundamentals needed for safe operation of our Sonar Keelboats. The sailors will discuss and practice rigging the boat, tacking and gybing, steering in all points of sail, docking procedures and other skills needed to control the boat. The instructors will provide hands on guidance every step of the way. The sailors will work in small groups to get as much tiller time as possible. This class will meet four Tuesdays in June: June 2, June 9, June 23, and June 30. This class is for women sailors only!
