FAMILIES THAT PLAY TOGETHER
SAIL TOGETHER!
SAIL TOGETHER!
We have family fun programming all summer for families who want to learn to sail as a recreation and are new to the sport to those who want to compete at a higher level as a team.
FAMILY LEARN TO SAIL PROGRAMS
The Okoboji Sailing Center has an attitude that it’s more fun when we learn as a group and where the learning process is fun. We offer a private lesson program for families whose idea of recreation is to get out and explore new opportunities together.
Our flexible packaging can be set up to last a few hours or to be multi-day excursions sailing West Lake Okoboji for a deeper understanding of the sport.
Email us or call at 712.337-0121 for more information on setting up your unique sailing outing.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS
FUN SAILING SOCIALS
FUN SAILING SOCIALS
This is where our students get to share the fun?
Eligible for all C420 and X Boat students
Fun Sailing Socials occur all summer on Thursday evenings.
This is an opportunity for racing and recreational students in the C420 or X Boat to share what they have learned about the sport of sailing with a parent, sibling, or an interested friend.
The evening may include casual sailing or even a fun race or two. This is a program where all it takes to bond is a little water, a few snacks, and some cool drinks.
Stop by and experience first-hand what your student is learning.
It's a riot!
LEARNING TOGETHER MAKES
THE SPORT SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING.
"I absolutely love how sailing is truly a lifetime sport. You can pretty much get on any type of boat anywhere in the world and be able to enjoy the wind and the waves,” Dr. Chris Rierson |
